Within easy reach and with great transport links of both Sydney city and Sydney airport Cronulla is a great location to live, work or visit.

If you’re coming into Cronulla by road, you’ll most likely end up on either President Avenue, which leads into the Kingsway taking you directly into Cronulla towards North Cronulla beach or via Captain Cook Drive passing by Cronulla Golf Club.  It takes around 40/45 minutes from the city depending on traffic volume and time of day.

If you prefer to sit back and let the train take the strain then Cronulla is serviced by the T4 line; Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line.  Daily services take you directly into Sydney city stations.  Train journey times are approximately 50 minutes from Cronulla station to Central.  For the airport change at Wolli Creek to the T8 Airport and South Line where trains will take you directly into either the station at the Domestic or International airport terminals. You can use apps like TripLite to plan your journey.

Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Domestic and International airport is easily accessed from Cronulla via train or road services.  Drive yourself, take a taxi or use a ride share service like Uber.  It’s so convenient to have an International airport on your doorstep!

If you’re looking for a relaxing way to get between Cronulla and Bundeena then you really can’t beat the daily ferry service across the Port Hacking river provided by Cronulla Ferries.  Departing Cronulla Wharf services take 30 minutes each way.  A bus service runs in bad weather. Sceanic river cruises are also available.

There are several Bus Routes into and out of Cronulla including: Route 987 Kurnell to Cronulla via Captain Cook Drive – daily service. Route 970 and 971 Cronulla to Hurstville via Burraneer Bay Road, Mirand and Port Hacking Road, also 970 Miranda to Hurstville via Sylvania Heights – daily services. On Demand Bus Service which operates through the Sutherland Shire and into Cronulla.  This service provides buses to and from Cronulla between 6am and 8pm Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.  There is no service on public holidays. Free shuttle courtesy buses are provided by some of the local sports and social clubs in Cronulla such as Cronulla Sharks and Cronulla RSL club.  Contact the clubs for details.  Paid shuttle buses or mini bus services are also available like Shire Shuttle Bus.

 

There is a taxi rank outside Cronulla train station, and another on the Kingsway at the end of Cronulla Mall. Local taxis are available via several providers such as St George Cabs.
