Celebrate Australia Day 2020 in Cronulla!  Enjoy two days of live music and entertainment.

Come on down to Cronulla South Beach and celebrate Australia Day with your friends and family – there’s lot of action and things to do.

Entertainment starts at 1pm and goes right through culminating with spectacular fireworks at 9pm.

Come early, bring your picnic rug and basket of goodies.  Low back chairs are OK, but please be considerate and don’t block out people’s view of the entertainment on stage.

This year’s entertainment has a fantastic line up of live music including;

• 1pm  The Kirrawee High Jazz Orchestra
• 1.45 pm  Kim Sheehy, from the 2019 series of The Voice
• 2.45 pm  The Engadine and Miranda musical societies
• 4.15 pm  The Royal Australian Navy Band
• 5.30 pm  The National Anthem sung by the Sutherland Shire Schools Choir
• 6.00 pm  The infectious sound of band Caravãna Sun
• 7.00 pm  Busby Marou – Australian musical duo
• 8.15 pm  The fantastic Casey Donovan – winner of Australian Idol 2004
• 9.00 pm  Fireworks finale

Let the train take the strain!  Cronulla will be busy over the Australia Day weekend so we suggest you take the train.  Additional train services will be running, and there’s plenty of parking at stations along the way. 

Sutherland Shire’s Charity Partner for Australia Day 2020 is the Kurrunulla Aboriginal Corporation. 

This charity will receive funds raised during Sutherland Shire Countil Australia Day 2020 events.  

Kurrunulla has been working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island people and organisations living in the Sutherland Shire and St George areas for many years. The Corporation helps meet the needs of frail, aged, and younger people with disabilities and their carers in a culturally appropriate manner.
